Sue Bargetto
When you are raised in a home where some type of art, crafts, or sewing is always going on, it is safe to say that creativity is runny through my veins. For the past ten years, I have been a furniture painter which led me to open a brick and mortar. From this experience, I have learned that one of my greatest excitements comes from teaching people to find their own creativity.
My husband and I live in Soquel, Ca. We both have lived here for most of our lives and are so happy to have raised our son and daughter here as well.
We now have four grandchildren that love to come to visit Grammy and Poppi’s Soquel Vineyards Winery Estate property to explore and experience the lifestyle we love.

Andrea Garvey
After a fulfilling career as a Creative Director in Corporate America, Andrea decided to pursue that dream of becoming a full-time working artist. She felt it was a true calling and has never looked back. Now she is busy creating online art classes for everyone around the world, as well as building up a creative art community. Inspiring others through color and joy to tap into their creativity and see the magic in that superpower! She loves acrylics and watercolor paints, and her paintings are a blend of abstract art that meets realism in the middle, and her technique is one of a fluid, intuitive style. Many layers are created by lines and marks, as well as various tools and paints. She currently lives in Santa Cruz, CA with her husband, 3 boys, her sweet dog Scout, and cat Basil. The sea is an endless source of wonder and imagination for Andrea which is probably why her favorite color is blue. While the mild seasons by the beach give Andrea an endless amount of floral inspiration from all the beautiful gardens.

ACRYLIC BEACHSIDE PAINTING
Capitola, CA is a beachside town that is so colorful and bright due to the famous Venetian hotel built in the 1920s and it still has that Mediterranean look and feel today. This will be our inspiration for our acrylic painting, full of color and mark-making by using a layering technique that I love to teach. We will use acrylic paints, inks, and paint pens. This class is all about having fun, playing, and letting go!

When I retired I planned on taking a year off to travel and get my house in order. I am a retailer for DIY Paint and Daydream Apothecary Paint, Iron Orchid Designs, and Decoupage Queen Paper.
